Bed Bug Heat and Chemical Treatment
Looking for bed bug heat and chemical treatment? Heat Treatment (also known as heat or thermal remediation) combined with chemicals Is the Most Effective Way to Kill Bed Bugs
The benefits of heat treatment
- Kills all life stages of bed bugs—adults, nymphs, and eggs—with one heat treatment
- Heat is a non-chemical, non-toxic approach that penetrates wall cavities, mattresses and other hard to reach areas
- No odor
- Treated in 24 hours
- No damage to contents in properly prepared infested room
We offer you an environmentally friendly, non-toxic heat application that can be applied to specific areas as well as entire structures. Our heat treatment equipment works by generating clean, dry heated air within an infected area. We slowly raise the temperatures to levels no bed bugs, nymphs, or eggs can survive. Because of their ability to hide in cracks and crevices, heat treatment is one of the only effective ways to eliminate bed bugs. Proper heat application penetrates the most hard to reach areas of your home, killing the bed bugs right where they live.
Heat treatment combined with chemicals
Temperatures in the range of 115-143ºF for about one hour prove fatal to many of the pesticide-resistant organisms that invade our buildings. We recommend heaters to be set at 132ºF and maintained at that temperature for at least 24 hours. A combination of heat and chemical treatment will provide immediate results with a residual barrier to help prevent future infestation. While heat treatment alone will eliminate all stages of bed bug life present at the time of treatment, we recommend a residual chemical spray to help ensure there is no immediate bed bug reintroduction. These two methods combined will ensure your home or office is infestation free.
